Abstract:
Customized products from Small Area and Administrative Data Division can 
be designed to meet the specific needs of a client. From the income tax forms 
submitted each year by Canadians, a wealth of economic and demographic
information is available, subject to confidentiality restrictions. Customized 
products can include special data, custom-tailored analysis or sets of data 
generated through client defined parameters. Data can be requested starting 
in 1985 for postal areas (there are over 26,000), census divisions and census 
metropolitan areas. Clients can also request data for geographic areas which 
they define themselves. The statistics are derived from the annual taxfile 
provided by Revenue Canada.
