Abstract:

Individuals File, 2006 Census (Public Use Microdata Files) DVD-ROM Product
(Catalogue No. 95M0028XVB – containing both B20/20 and ASCII formats of the file).  
 
This public use microdata file provides a unique access to non-aggregated and 
anonymous data for a sample of 2.7% of the population enumerated in the census. 
It is a comprehensive social, demographic and economic database about Canada and 
its people, and contains a wealth of characteristics on the population. The 
geographic identifiers have been restricted to provinces, territories and large 
metropolitan areas to ensure the anonymity of respondents. 

 
This product contains the following:  
Flat file (ASCII) version; 
Beyond 20/20 version (includes the B2020 browser and documentation); 
User Guide and codebook 
SAS and SPSS program source codes.
