CCHS 2007-2008 data

The CCHS 2007-2008 Public Use Microdata File is provided in ASCII format in this product. It is called "hs.txt" (common and optional content file). See File Names and Sizes (PDF, 16 KB) for more information.

Accessing the CCHS 2007-2008 data in SAS ® or SPSS ®

Syntax files are provided to read and label the microdata . The data can easily be staged in SAS or SPSS format by running the corresponding "READFILE" syntax file in the SAS_SPSS folder. See File Names and Sizes (PDF, 16 KB).

Accessing the CCHS 2007-2008 data with Beyond 20/20 ®

To install the Beyond 20/20 Browser double-click the setup.exe file in the B2020probrowser folder, which can be found in the main CD directory. Once installed, you can use the Beyond 20/20 Browser to create your own tabulations.

If after installing the Beyond 20/20 Browser you experience difficulties viewing the files, please double-click on the HS.ivx file in the Extr2020folder, which can be found in the main CD directory.

Start Beyond 20/20 Extract (select Open) - for common and optional content.
