Households and the Environment Survey 2009 Statistics Canada periodically conducts the Household and the Environment Survey to measure household actions that have, or are perceived to have, positive or negative impacts on the environment. The survey provides baseline information to use in measuring progress towards sound environmental practices at the household level.
