This file includes many safeguards to prevent the identification of any one person. Although often referred to as a single file, the SLID public-use microdata file is actually four separate files: key, person, economic family and census family. This does not impact the data in any way. Resolution Since this minor omission does not impact the data, the product will not be re-issued. It is simply a matter of noting that in the four data files the values in the field YEAR99 (for a length of 4) are missing. The reference year, 2004, should have been included in this location.
