The UEP, or Unique Enhanced Postal Code file is a precision point file representing over 1 million postal codes across Canada. This product is derived from the Multiple Enhanced Postal Code product.
Canada Post is the primary data source for the product. DMTI enhances positional accuracy of postal code points using the civic addressing within the CanMap streetfile product. Various attribute information is then associated to each record including precision codes to convey the level of accuracy at which the postal code is geographically positioned.
