Topographic boundaries illustrate urban areas where topographic detail is available from National Topographic Database (NTDB). Detailed layers include, but are not limted to: casements, building footprints, detailed water, landuse. |

Originally based on 1991 CMA Boundary extents from StatsCan Census. They were adapted over time an update dwith the 1996 CMA boundaries and later with Statscan urban area boundaries. Topo boundaries have been modified to be positionally aligned with CanMap Streets.
