 Abstract
Elections Canada and Statistics Canada produced the National Geographic Database (NGD). The NGD file consists of road segments that include instances of address information and road segments that don't contain any address attribute values. A contractor produced this table that was the result of the conflation between NRN (National Road Network) instances and NGD instances. Since the output is an ASCII text file, it will not contain any geometery of the actually road segements, however it is possible to link this ASCII file to the Road Network. The key value that provides the linkage between the two tables is the NID. ISC (Information Services Corporation) used this table to add address ranges to the Road Segement data that was orginaly obtained from NRCAN, but modified by ISC.

 Purpose
The purpose of the initiative is to enhance the quality of the respective spatial databases of both NRCAN and their partner the province of Saskatchewan in the Saskatchewan Updated Road Network and Statistics Canada / Elections Canada.
